Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you select your program?
I'm part Norwegian so I wanted to study there and this was the only Norwegian program offered by UNC.
What did you learn about yourself?
I learned so much about who I am and what I want to do with my life. Since my study abroad experience I have completely changed how I want my future to look.
What is one of your favorite memories from your program?
I went on a road trip to Bergen and saw many beautiful sights along the way and once I got there.
What advice do you have for future study abroad students?
Don't be afraid to try new things or get outside your comfort zone.

Yes
How did your study abroad experience prepare you for your future career?
I changed what career I wanted to pursue as a result of this experience. I realized that I wanted to be a teacher which was an option I had never considered before.
Is there any advice you would give to other students who share your identity?
Take advantage of all your time in this new country.
If you faced any challenges abroad, where could you turn to get the support you needed?
My new friends that I made abroad my first week there.
