Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you select your program?
I have always wanted to experience a new culture, and I chose the Chinese health program because I am interested in a medical career.

What did you learn about yourself?
I learned that understanding another worldview is sometimes uncomfortable, and it is important to grow throughout the process while being forgiving when you struggle.

What is one of your favorite memories from your program?
One of my favorite memories is getting a Chinese massage with everyone in my program while drinking tea.

What advice do you have for future study abroad students?
Always be open to try anything or go anywhere, and try to learn from others wherever you go.

Would you do it again?
Yes, I would love to do it again.

How did your study abroad experience prepare you for your future career?
My experience studying tradition medicine and community health in China opened my eyes to a new side of medicine and its cultural significance as I prepare for medical school.
