What did you learn about yourself?
As a normally quiet and shy person, I learned that taking the first step can be worth it.
What is one of your favorite memories from your program?
Building friendships with people i'd never have met otherwise.
What advice do you have for future study abroad students?
I would tell students that uncertainties are natural and that they have a support system in place for them to reach out to.

Is there any advice you would give to other students who share your identity?
Understand that you are in a foreign country and that you should always be cautious.
If you faced any challenges abroad, where could you turn to get the support you needed?
CYA offered services and guidance on the local culture and what to do in the case of an emergency.
