Student Events

These events are for students who have been accepted to study abroad. Examples include: 

  • Pre-Departure Conference
  • FLP pre-departure meetings
  • Study Abroad Returnee Welcome Back Social
  • Career Workshop for Returned Students

Roles/Responsibilities

Marketing Manager –Promotes returnee events via student newsletter and on social media as requested. Assists with communication strategy. Creates webpage for events as needed.

Outreach Coordinator – Fields requests for food/décor.

Advising and Administrative Coordinator  Adds event to website calendar. May assist with setting up zoom sessions for virtual events. Makes room reservations as requested.

Advisors – Fill out the event request form. Coordinate the logistics of the event. Liase with other offices on campus who are involved with the event. Develop and give presentations as needed. Serve as the main face of the event.

PDs –Assist advisors as needed. Develop and give presentations as needed. Serve as the main face of the event.
