If you are attending the Fair and will be driving to campus, we recommend first coming to the Frank Porter Graham Student Union to unload your materials, and then parking your vehicle.

To drop off your materials on fair day:

  • Follow South Road onto campus.
  • In front of the Student Union Building, you can pull over to the side of the road – please use care not to block the bus stop.
  • The Great Hall is located in the Frank Porter Graham Student Union, upstairs and inside the building ahead of you and on your right.
  • Please turn on your hazard lights and leave your engine running.
  • After unloading, please move your car immediately to the Raleigh Road Visitor Lot.

Parking

If you plan on driving to campus, we are happy to reserve a parking space for you near the Union. When you complete your registration, make sure to indicate if you will need parking. The cost of a parking pass is $25 and must be paid with your registration.

You can usually park in the Raleigh Road Visitor’s lot without requesting a reservation; the cost is $1.50 per hour, payable when you exit the lot. Please note that the parking lot is a ten-minute walk to/from the Student Union – see the Campus Map for more information about Visitor Parking locations.
