UNC Study Abroad Fair Information & Registration for Exhibitors

At the Study Abroad Fair, students can visit one place to learn about the wide variety of study abroad programs. Tables advertising our programs will be staffed by faculty members, alumni, partner providers, and study abroad staff.

2024 Fair: Wednesday, November 6

Overview

Time: 11AM-2PM

Location: The Pit | Carolina Union (outdoors)

Rain Location: Great Hall of the Frank Porter Graham Student Union Building

Schedule

10:30 am – exhibitor registration and set-up
11:00 am – Fair begins
2:00 pm – Fair ends

Registration

Exhibitor participation is by INVITATION ONLY and is due October 1.

**Please note that there is a $500 fee for participation in the fair, due October 15.**

Details

If you are able to attend, you will be provided with space at a table with a Carolina blue tablecloth and 2 chairs. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring signage, their own branded table cloth if desired, promotional materials, and other swag. The Fair is taking place outdoors and you are welcome to bring a pop-up tent if desired.

 

NOTE: We are no longer using paper materials in our office. Please bring the amount you believe you will need for the Fair and plan to take the rest back afterwards.

Food

Boxed lunches and water bottles will be provided. Coffee and bagels are available for purchase at the Alpine Bagel Cafe, located on the main floor of the Student Union.

UNC Visitors’ Center – General visitor information

If you plan on driving to campus, a parking space will be reserved for you in the Rams Head Parking Deck. Please indicate if you will need parking on your registration form. If you decide to park at the last minute, you should still be able to park in Rams Head for $1.75/hr.

Day of Parking Action Items:

  • Snap a photo of your car’s license plate. You will need this at check-in.
  • Check-in at the Study Abroad Exhibitor Check-in Table. We will be located by the Information Desk inside the Carolina Union.
