UNC Study Abroad Fair Information & Registration
At the Study Abroad Fair, students can visit one place to learn about the wide variety of study abroad programs. Tables advertising our programs will be staffed by faculty members, alumni, partner providers, and study abroad staff.

Location: Great Hall of the Frank Porter Graham Student Union Building

9:30 am – exhibitor registration and set-up
11:00 am – Fair begins
3:00 pm – Fair ends
Registration
Exhibitor participation is by INVITATION ONLY and is due October 15.
To reserve parking, indicate that you would like a parking permit on the registration form and mail in the $25 fee by November 1. Checks can be made out to UNC Study Abroad with the memo: Fair.

Details
If you are able to attend, you will be provided with space at a table. You may share table space with other partners and 2 chairs will be available behind each table. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring promotional material or swag.
NOTE: We are no longer using paper materials in our office. Please bring the amount you believe you will need for the Fair and plan to take the rest back afterwards.
Food
Coffee and bagels are available for purchase at the Alpine Bagel Cafe, located on the main floor of the Student Union.

UNC Visitors’ Center – General visitor information
If you are attending the Fair and will be driving to campus, we recommend first coming to the Frank Porter Graham Student Union to unload your materials, and then parking your vehicle.
To drop off your materials on fair day:
- Follow South Road onto campus.
- In front of the Student Union Building, you can pull over to the side of the road – please use care not to block the bus stop.
- The Great Hall is located in the Frank Porter Graham Student Union, upstairs and inside the building ahead of you and on your right.
- Please turn on your hazard lights and leave your engine running.
- After unloading, please move your car immediately to the Raleigh Road Visitor Lot.
Parking
If you plan on driving to campus, we are happy to reserve a parking space for you in the Raleigh Road Visitor’s Lot. When you complete your registration, make sure to indicate whether you will need parking. The cost of a parking pass is $25 and must be paid with your registration.
You can also park in the Raleigh Road Visitor’s lot without requesting a reservation; the cost is $1.50 per hour, payable when you exit the lot. Please note that the parking lot is a ten-minute walk to/from the Student Union – see the Campus Map for more information.
