Study Abroad Peer Ambassadors

Looking for some advice or insider info? Want a UNC student’s perspective?

Study Abroad Peer Ambassadors (SAPAs) are UNC students who have studied abroad in their time at UNC. They are available to talk to any interested students to find out more about programs and study abroad experiences. Find them at selected Study Abroad 101 Info Sessions, Peer Ambassadors’ events like Pit Sits and panels on special topics, on their Facebook page, and around campus.

Peer Ambassadors LOVE talking about their study abroad experiences! Read their stories and feel free to reach out – they’d love to talk to you!

Sample questions for SAPAs:

  • How did you select your study abroad program?
  • What was the transition to your host country like?
  • Is there something you wish you had known before going abroad?
  • How did you watch Carolina basketball games from another country?

Have you already studied abroad? Want to be a Peer Ambassador?
