Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you select your program?
I chose to study abroad because I love to travel and I knew it would be a rewarding experience and it definitely was. I selected my particular program because it is one of the few study abroad program that offers a science course. I got to take organic chemistry abroad.

What did you learn about yourself?
I learned that I am good at balancing fun and school. I also learned that I am very flexible and can change plans at the drop of a hat.

What is one of your favorite memories from your program?
My favorite memory was going to the cliffs of Moher because I went with some awesome girls and the cliffs are truly breath taking. I could have sat there all day and just stared into their beauty.

What advice do you have for future study abroad students?
My advice is to pack a little bit of everything and to really take advantage of every experience. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Would you do it again?
I would in a heart beat

How did your study abroad experience prepare you for your future career?
My study abroad experience prepared me for my future career because I went to an unfamiliar place and had to find my way and adjust quickly. These are important skills for a doctor.
