Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you select your program?
The program was geared towards environmental and marine sciences which is what I’m interested in studying, and it provided useful field work experience that I don’t get on main campus.
What did you learn about yourself?
I learned that I am passionate about marine science and want to pursue a future career in research.
What is one of your favorite memories from your program?
I enjoyed going on class field trips and visiting different locations in coastal North Carolina to get hands-on learning experiences.
What advice do you have for future study abroad students?
Doing a study abroad program is so worth it, and it will give you many once in a lifetime experiences. You will meet lots of great people with similar interests to you, and you will learn more than you ever would by staying on main campus.
