Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you select your program?
I chose to study abroad because I have never been out of the country and thought it would be a great experience I have always wanted to do. I chose LDM Florence because I have heard amazing things about the school and Italy itself. I also chose they program because it was more in my price range compared to the other programs.
What did you learn about yourself?
I learned that I am much more self sufficient than I though I was and that no matter where I am in the world or who I am with I can thrive.
What is one of your favorite memories from your program?
Traveling to Split Croatia and searching for the little local beach and spending all day on the little island Hvar.
What advice do you have for future study abroad students?
If you ever feel uncertain go for long walks and find the little places that make you feel at home. Try to fully immerse yourself in the culture and place.
