Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you select your program?
I wanted to a have a hands-on learning experience abroad and the School for the Field Studies programs heavily focus on learning through experience. Additionally, I wanted to live in a Spanish-speaking Latin American country.
What did you learn about yourself?
I learned that cold showers are great when you're covered in sweat and dirt in the middle of the day.
What is one of your favorite memories from your program?
Hiking up a volcano with one of my best friends.
What advice do you have for future study abroad students?
Live every day intentionally

YES. 100%

It helped me build a strong foundation on sustainable projects and methods.
