Hi, I’m Trisha! I’m from Apex, North Carolina and I studied abroad on the UNC faculty-led Southeast Asia Summer Program (SEAS) in the summer of 2016. After traveling to Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand, I realized just how much I like to explore new countries and have decided to study abroad for a full semester in the near future. I became a Study Abroad Peer Advisor to convince more people to go abroad because I believe that it can be a life-changing experience. Studying abroad allows people to leave their comfort zones, gain confidence, and learn about the world on a first-hand basis.

Countries & Territories I have visited: India, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Mexico

About me: I’m currently working on my Electronic & Broadcast Journalism major and Social & Economic Justice minor. I love spending my free time with my friends and family, catching up on Netflix, crafting, volunteering, and of course, traveling. If you have questions about these countries, funding for programs, or any other concerns, feel free to reach out to me! I would love to meet with you to share my experiences and help you make the most out of yours!
